About Us

Family and Caregiver Resources

Patients and their families are our most important concern. We believe that family is an integral part of the recovery process. Extra spacious private rooms are available to all patients admitted to LIFE Center Specialty Hospital and overnight rollaway beds can be provided to a family caregiver for no additional cost. If a family member desires to remain nearby to a loved one, two family guest rooms are also available in the facility for a nominal overnight charge

Assistance is offered by a trained volunteer staff and coordinated with certified professionals from the Area Agency on Aging, located next door to the LIFE Center Specialty Hospital, to respond to questions onsite regarding advanced directives, selecting a nursing home or home health agency, completing a public benefits check up, reviewing eligibility for free or reduced cost medications and telecommunication equipment for persons with disabilities, Medicaid eligibility, Medicare benefits, and/or counseling with caregivers regarding resources, training and support.
